Pawning Pellet BB Guns

My friend insisted in selling me his pellet bb guns because he said he needed money to be able to join our annual beach vacation. I told him that he can just borrow money from me and then he can just pay me back in the future when he has the money. I didn’t let him sell his pellet bb guns to me because I know how much he values them. I know he will be sad if he realizes that he has sold his pellet bb guns just to be able to join our annual beach vacation. As a friend, I would not allow that so I did my best to lend him the money he needed.
