In the beginning of their fall semester, three students from a community college in Asheville, North Carolina, signed up to receive a program instructing them on the truth about six pack abs (German: Wahrheit über Bauchmuskeln Programm). The three students were roommates and though they didn’t have six pack abs, they weren’t necessarily overweight. The fancy marketing techniques lured them in, and the fine print went unnoticed. Now, as the semester comes to an end, the student whose credit card was used to purchase the videos has been charged numerous times. The resulting stress has been too much for the students and they have become overweight and anxious as one of them plunges into debt.
