 If you ask me, the best tea samplers push you out of your tea comfort zone and include teas that you normally would not have tried if they were not included in the tea samplers.  Some of the best teas I have ever experienced have been complete surprises to me and were definitely teas outside my typical tea-purchasing habits.  My best advice when evaluating which tea samplers to purchase is to find ones that have a wide variety of teas from exotic growing regions as they have the most potential to expand your knowledge base and surprise your taste buds. Also look for styles of tea you have not yet experienced.
