Fund Raising for Art Classes

Going back to when I went to school, I remember always feeling really excited when I had the chance of bringing home my finished art projects to show my parents and the rest of the family. My 9 year old son takes after me in this respect and he always rushes home early when he has a new project to share with me. However, just recently there have been a number of cutbacks in the education system and particularly at my son’s school which put in jeopardy the art and craft program. Several of the other parents who I had previously met, contacted me and we decided to put together an action plan in an effort to save the program. 14 fundraisers later and we were actually able to raise enough money to fund the project for a further 2 years. I can’t tell you how happy my son and the rest of his classmates are!
